Job summary

RETTEW is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer 3 to join our Municipal team and deliver critical drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role includes field work and design responsibilities across pump stations, treatment facilities, and distribution systems.

You will grow under the guidance of project managers and senior professionals, taking ownership of technical assignments while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited program.
• Minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience, including internship or co-op experience.
• Professional experience supporting water and/or wastewater engineering or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage assigned work with increasing independence while collaborating with Project Managers and senior technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and moderate design assignments for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Support planning, design, rehabilitation, and improvement of pump stations, treatment facilities, water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, and extensions.
• Prepare plans, specifications, technical reports, cost estimates, permit applications, and other engineering deliverables.
• Participate in field investigations, construction observation, and project support.
• Research applicable regulations and support permitting and regulatory coordination for municipal projects.
