Job summary

RETTEW is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineering Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects that support the reliability, safety, and long-term resilience of the communities we serve. You will own water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting, and delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, with Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility to obtain Pennsylvania licensure through reciprocity.
• Professional experience delivering drinking water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated project-management experience with responsibility for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams and project deliverables.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and experience building productive professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through permitting, bidding, and delivery.
• Take responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for municipal, authority, and other water/wastewater clients.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, environmental, permitting, and field professionals.
• Support proposals, project pursuits, and opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients in partnership with RETTEW’s Business Development resources.
