Job summary

Consor seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of critical water infrastructure across California. You will work with project managers, regulatory agencies, and clients to develop plans for treatment facilities, pipelines, and storage systems.

Must hold a California PE license, have 4+ years of water/wastewater experience, and be proficient with AutoCAD or Civil 3D. Hybrid work options are available at CA locations including San Diego.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, storage facilities, and related systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents for municipal and private-sector clients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions that meet project objectives, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project tasks and deliverables, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline expectations are achieved.
• Participate in client meetings and serve as a day-to-day point of contact, helping build and maintain strong client relationships.
