Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Civil Engineering/Construction Management Project Manager in Washington to plan, direct, and coordinate large-scale civil industrial projects such as wastewater facilities and water reclamation systems. You will ensure goals are met on time and within budget, supervising staff and coordinating subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 3–5 years of related experience, with strong skills in CPM scheduling, cost control,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (B.S.).
• 3–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand plans and specifications.
• Follow administrative procedures per Project Administration Manual.
• Inspect construction site to monitor progress and conformance with plans, specs, and safety standards.
• Produce accurate CPM schedules as needed.
• Supervise submittal process and drawing requirements.
• Prepare reports, specifications, plans, environmental impact studies, and designs as necessary.
• Provide contract interpretation and clarification.
• Maintain project schedules with monthly updates and two-week look-ahead reviews.
• Control costs and monitor productivity and production budgets.
• Review, approve, and submit progress billings and invoices.
• Prepare and monitor job costs and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate change orders and settlement of claims.
