Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our team in Colorado, with roles across Colorado Springs, Loveland, and Denver. You’ll collaborate with clients on critical water and wastewater solutions, leading project tasks and coordinating teams to deliver sustainable infrastructure.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 8+ years’ experience, and a PE license or reciprocity. Travel and a clean driving record are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 8 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain Colorado licensure through reciprocity
• Experience leading engineering tasks and coordinating project teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience working directly with municipal clients and regulatory agencies
• Active participation in professional organizations and industry conferences

Additional Information

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $100,000 to $155,000 Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
