RESPEC seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our Water market sector in Colorado Springs, Loveland, and Denver. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver water and wastewater solutions, manage design tasks, and support project execution.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of related experience, a PE license (or Colorado reciprocity), strong communication, and the ability to lead teams. We offer competitive compensation and an ESOP-centered benefits package.

• 8+ years experience in water and wastewater facilities.

RESPEC, seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in our Water market sector, located in Colorado Springs, Loveland, and Denver, Colorado.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 8 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain Colorado licensure through reciprocity
• Experience leading engineering tasks and coordinating project teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

Preferred:

• Experience serving as a technical lead on complex water and wastewater projects
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water/wastewater infrastructure
• Experience developing scopes of work, project budgets, schedules, and professional service proposals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience working directly with municipal clients and regulatory agencies
• Active participation in professional organizations and industry conferences

Additional Information

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $100,000 to $155,000 Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
