Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Water market sector, located in CO Springs and Denver, Colorado. The role focuses on delivering engineering solutions for water and wastewater challenges with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 4+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Preference given to a Colorado PE license and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and MS Office.

Job Description

RESPEC, seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Water market sector, located in CO Springs and Denver, Colorado.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 4 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six (6) months
• Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports
• Knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water/wastewater infrastructure
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience coordinating with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders

Additional Information

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
