Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a motivated Project Manager for its Water Practice in the Mid-Atlantic to lead large-scale water and wastewater programs, including capital projects and strategic advisory services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior leadership, business development, and expanding the Water Practice while delivering value to regional utility clients with a focus on safety and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum seven years of applicable experience; ten years preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater project/program management with collaborative delivery is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and technical direction to staff during project execution including project controls, data management, capital project delivery, public outreach, regulatory compliance, and construction management.
• Lead and/or support collaborative delivery projects, primarily progressive design-build.
• Support Owners in advisory role delivering water and wastewater projects enterprise-wide.
• Establish project teams and coordinate activities of multiple disciplines for cost-effective staffing.
