Job summary

Burns & McDonnell seeks a Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to perform process design for municipal or industrial projects. You will develop treatment system approaches, manage design tasks, and communicate technical details to clients.

Responsibilities include project planning, collaboration with regulatory agencies, and mentoring junior staff while supporting design-build integrations.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or Master’s with experience.
• FE exam completed and 3 years of process engineering experience (consulting preferred).
• Experience in water or wastewater process engineering, treatment systems, or industrial utilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform/lead process design for municipal or industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Develop technical approaches for treatment systems and facility processes.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget; communicate with clients.
