Job summary

Apex Companies seeks a Principal for our Water/Wastewater Practice in the Northeast. You will lead teams of engineers, scientists, and project managers, shaping strategy, recruiting and mentoring staff, and driving value for clients and the firm.

You will manage projects from development through completion, oversee budgets and QA/QC, and advance cross-selling and business development while nurturing client relationships and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• BS or MS Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure in state(s) where work occurs.
• 15+ years of relevant water/wastewater experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers, scientists, project managers to deliver high-quality water/wastewater projects.
• Develop new clients and cross-sell services to expand the practice.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, QA/QC procedures, and risk management.
• Manage client relationships and communications with senior management.
