Job summary

Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance, chemical dosing adjustments, data entry from lab results, and potentially local lab testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience or equivalent combination of education.
• Valid Texas Class C Drivers License and Good Driving Record.
• Class D Water and/or Waste Water License required within six months of employment.
• Class C Water and/or Waste Water License required within one year of employment.
• Approved Hazmat training is required within six months of employment.
• High School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain water or wastewater treatment plants.
• Collect samples and perform analyses for process monitoring.
• Monitor plant operations and adjust valves, flows, and return rates.
• Adjust chemical dosages as needed and run analytical tests.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and operate sludge press.
• Perform general and preventative plant maintenance; maintain buildings and grounds.
• Order supplies and chemicals for treatment.
• Enter data from lab analysis and conduct local laboratory testing.

Education

High School Diploma

Class D Water and/or Waste Water License (within six months)

Class C Water and/or Waste Water License (within one year)

Approved Hazmat training (within six months)

Valid Texas Class C Drivers License
