Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience or equivalent combination of education.
• Valid Texas Class C Drivers License and Good Driving Record.
• Class D Waste Water License
• Class C Waste Water License required within one year of employment
• Approved Hazmat training is required within six months of employment

Responsibilities

• The operator safely operates and maintains wastewater treatment plants and ensures compliance with permits.
• Collects samples and performs analyses for process monitoring and reportable analysis.
• Monitors plant operations; adjusts valves, flows, and return rates; adjusts chemical dosages as needed; runs lab tests and maintains equipment.
