The role involves sampling, lab analysis, process monitoring, and adjusting chemical dosages. Candidates should have a minimum two years' experience, a valid Texas license, and Hazmat training within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience or equivalent combination of education.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and Good Driving Record.
• Class D Waste Water License
• Class C Waste Water License required within one year of employment
• Approved Hazmat training is required within six months of employment

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants and ensure permit compliance.
• Collect samples and perform analysis on water/wastewater for monitoring and reporting.
• Monitor plant operations, adjust valves, flows, and chemical dosages as needed; run analytical tests.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; operate sludge press and related plant areas.
• Enter data from lab analyses and support general plant maintenance and repairs.
