Qualifications

  • Class D Water and/or Waste Water License required within six months of employment.
  • Class C Water and/or Waste Water License required within one year of employment.
  • Approved Hazmat training is required within six months of employment.
  • High School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain water or wastewater treatment plants.

  • Adjust chemical dosages as needed and run analytical tests.

  • Enter data from lab analysis and conduct local laboratory testing.

STARTING SALARY RANGE

$22.62 to $25.73 per hour Plant Operator Class D Wastewater License

$23.62 to $28.84 per hour Plant Operator Class C Wastewater License
