Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one year related experience.
• Ability to obtain Wastewater Treatment Level 1 within two years.
• Ability to obtain Wastewater Collection Level I within two years.
• Ability to obtain Water Treatment Level I within two years.
• Ability to obtain Water Distribution Level I within two years.
• Ability to obtain Water Production Level I within two years.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance including greasing and cleaning of plant equipment.
• Daily record keeping.
• Perform laboratory and field analyses.
• Reading and interpreting meters and gauges
• Routine ground maintenance
• Perform sampling and routine process control tests
• Respond to emergency calls 24/7
• Locate problems and operate sewer cleaning equipment to clear stoppage
• Assist in installing new water and sewer services.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
