Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager to lead water-related projects in the Houston area. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensure quality deliverables, and maintain strong client relationships to drive successful project outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, budget control, and collaboration with engineering and construction professionals. Minimum 5 years of experience and a mechanical engineering background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and civil/municipal engineering.
• Experience in water treatment/distribution, wastewater, hydrology design/modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as Project Manager or senior technical capacity on significant water projects.
• Direct multi-disciplinary teams on proposals, studies, design and construction services.
• Develop client relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
• Ensure project quality, schedule, and budget alignment across teams.
• Coordinate design documentation, vendors, and construction deliverables.
