Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to lead planning and engineering design of water/wastewater infrastructure. You will collaborate with a wide range of technical disciplines and guide project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role focuses on mentoring staff, pursuing business development, developing proposals, and managing scope, budget, and schedule. Travel to project sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for water/wastewater projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Perform business development and develop long-lasting client relationships; help develop proposals.
• Lead scope, budget, staffing and schedule for complex projects.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines on water/wastewater projects and perform design tasks.
