The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency with EPANET/SWMM and CAD. Travel to project sites in and around Welkom is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a specialization in water/wastewater.
• Professional registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design and management of water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water treatment and wastewater infrastructure plans.
• Perform hydraulic modeling for distribution networks and sewers.
• Evaluate and select treatment technologies for potable water and wastewater.
• Prepare design reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for water projects.
• Oversee construction to ensure compliance with designs and standards.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and optimize systems.
• Stay updated on water engineering regulations and technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support.
