Job summary

RESPEC, a 100% employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer for our CO Springs and Denver, Colorado offices. You will work with clients to design and improve water and wastewater systems, leveraging data-driven approaches across a range of projects.

Candidates should hold a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, have 4+ years of relevant experience, and possess an EIT; Colorado PE is preferred. Travel and client coordination are expected.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of water/wastewater facilities experience.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

RESPEC, seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Water market sector, located in CO Springs and Denver, Colorado.

Our multidisciplinary team specializes in groundbreaking projects that address water and wastewater challenges faced by our clients. Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 4 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six (6) months
• Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports
• Knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water/wastewater infrastructure
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience coordinating with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders

Compensation:

Salary depends on experience and expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
