Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking a Water / Wastewater Design Engineer to support planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects across water supply, wastewater collection, treatment and related civil works.

From feasibility through to detailed design and construction support, you will prepare calculations, develop hydraulic models and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliant, practical and safe outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in civil, environmental, water engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in water and/or wastewater design and regulatory compliance.
• Sound knowledge of hydraulic principles and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings and schedules.
• Develop hydraulic models and design solutions for pipelines, pumping stations and treatment facilities.
• Review surveys, site information and asset data; coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Assist with tenders, fee estimates, project programmes and mentoring junior staff.
