Job summary

Consor in Oregon is seeking a Water & Wastewater Engineering Designer to support planning and design of critical municipal infrastructure, including water distribution and treatment facilities. You will produce detailed design drawings, technical plans, and construction documents in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

This hybrid role requires 2–6 years of relevant experience, a BS in an engineering discipline, and an Engineer-in-Training certification.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of water and wastewater engineering experience with a consulting firm, municipality, or public agency.
• BS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design drawings, layouts, profiles, and construction plan sets for water and wastewater infrastructure using CAD software.
• Assist with design calculations, hydraulic analyses, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
• Conduct field investigations and utility verification for data collection and design development.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop constructible designs.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, technical exhibits, and design reports.
