Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Las Vegas office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of water and wastewater design experience to join its Water/Wastewater team. This is an on-site role requiring collaboration with a multidisciplinary team on municipal projects, including design of treatment facilities and pumping stations.

The successful candidate will contribute to project design, permitting, and client interactions while receiving mentorship, training, and exposure to plan production

Qualifications

• 2+ years of municipal wastewater engineering design experience.
• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree is required.
• EIT/Engineering Intern certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, and water/wastewater facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to complete projects on time and within budgets.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules while maintaining high-quality plan sets.
