Job summary

Apex Companies seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design projects across New England, including treatment plants and water systems. Hybrid roles available in Greater Boston, Providence, or Glastonbury, CT, with relocation considered.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or related field; 8+ years water/wastewater design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to reciprocity; preferred.
• Proven client relations, leadership, and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and manage implementation while following company policy.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Supervise technical staff and provide mentorship and training.
• Consult on water design challenges and perform independent reviews.
• Ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance across documents.
• Track costs and ensure timely client invoicing per policy.
• Contribute to proposals, interviews, and client presentations.
