Job summary

Badger Meter seeks a Solution Architect to lead front-end sales, design customer solutions, and partner with our sales team. You’ll drive engaging technical proposals for water quality and smart metering systems, while mentoring teams and staying ahead of industry trends.

This role covers the Central/Eastern US Territory (NC, SC, VA, WV, KY, TN); the preferred candidate will live in Charlotte, NC and travel up to 60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in the water/wastewater or technical solution design sector.
• Proven ability to communicate, present, and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor during pre-sales with technical solution design.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and distributors to present solutions.
• Participate in seminars, trade shows and industry events.
• Respond to RFPs, bids, and inquiries with precision.
• Mentor internal teams to improve sales effectiveness.
• Stay ahead of trends to keep Badger Meter as partner of choice.
