Job summary

Badger Meter is recruiting a Municipal Account Manager to serve city and utility clients with smart water solutions. This role emphasizes strategic engagement, long-term relationship building, and cross-functional collaboration to solve municipal challenges and advance AMI technologies.

You will work with customers to tailor solutions, present new technologies, and participate in events that showcase Badger Meter’s leadership in water technology. Travel is a key aspect of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of account management experience, preferably with utilities or government agencies.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to travel up to 75% within your territory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with municipal and utility customers to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with innovators to present technologies and products to clients.
• Serve as a resource on AMI, smart metering, and water quality solutions.
• Represent Badger Meter at trade shows and industry events to strengthen relationships.
• Provide insights to product teams to enhance customer experience.
