Aqua America, Inc. is seeking a Utility Worker I for the Roaring Creek/Shamokin area.

You will report to the Field Supervisor and be responsible for repairing main breaks and service leaks, installing new services, and maintaining valves and hydrants, with monthly leak detection using company equipment. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 120 days.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Willingness to obtain CDL and pass DOT medical exam.

• Operates and maintains water distribution facilities including mains, valves and hydrants.
• Reads maps, drawings, and GIS data for field tasks.
• Performs monthly leak detection and responds to emergencies as needed.
• Performs backhoe/excavation tasks and uses hand/power tools as required.
