Job summary

Aqua, Inc. is seeking a Utility Technician to operate and maintain our water distribution system and related appurtenances in the Shenango Division. The role involves maintenance of mains, hydrants, valves, and service lines, and handling emergency calls as needed.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and be able to obtain a CDL within six months. A Class E Distribution License within two years and a competent person certification within one year are also

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required at time of hire.
Valid U.S. driver’s license required at time of hire.
CDL or ability to obtain CDL within six months from date of hire.
Class E Distribution License must be obtained within 2 years as per bargaining unit agreement.
Competent person certification or obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain water distribution system facilities (mains, valves, hydrants, services).
Operate and perform maintenance on equipment and vehicles; process work orders via tablet/computer.
Lift up to 100 lbs; ensure proper tool and equipment maintenance.
Report unusual conditions in the distribution system; respond to emergencies after hours.
Perform other duties and pursue skill growth as assigned.
