Job summary

Aqua America, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Utility Worker for the Eastern Maintenance Division in Willow Grove, PA. The role involves responding to leaks and main breaks, operating valves and hydrants, and performing meter work up to 1 inch with AMR systems.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and work a swing shift including weekends and holidays. Uniforms are provided, with safety and regulatory training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have valid operator's driving license and work independently.
• Swing shift, weekends and holidays required.
• Familiar with Eastern and Western Division territories.
• Able to locate leaks and main breaks; read meters up to 1” including AMR's.
• Capable of operating valves and fire hydrants and shutting down mains.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and communicate with the public.
• Familiar with UTILISPHERE, GIS, AIMS and related records.
• Respond to ONE CALL requests and review plans.
