Job summary

Northern Kentucky Water District (NKWD) is seeking a Customer Service Field Representative to respond to customer calls, handle billing inquiries, and perform water service activations in the field. You will work with customers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and support regulatory compliance.

Based in Kentucky, you will conduct meter readings, pressure checks, and minor repairs, with on-call rotations and a focus on safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in customer service preferred.
• At least 1 year in customer service, field service, or water distribution.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and water issues.
• Perform move-in/move-out activations and deactivations.
• Investigate and resolve complaints and minor repairs.
• Conduct service line inspections and leak detection.
• Take meter readings and program transmitters.
• Assist in safety, maintenance and data record-keeping.
• Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage.
