Job summary

The Northern Kentucky Water District is seeking a Customer Service Field Representative to respond to customer calls, perform meter readings, and support field operations. This role involves handling billing inquiries, on-site inspections, and coordination with contractors and internal teams.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work in various weather conditions. Some hybrid work options may be available in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer service, field service, or water distribution preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, service requests, and water issues.
• Perform move-in/move-out water activations and deactivations, including for delinquency programs.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, including minor repairs as needed.
• Conduct service line inspections, billing inspections, and leak detection.
• Execute vacant consumption shut-offs and address continuous consumption concerns.
• Perform pressure checks, meter readings, and system maintenance.
• Wire and program transmitters to ensure accurate meter data collection.
