Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Plaquemines Parish. You will handle incoming calls and customer requests related to water bills, perform paperwork, and support billing operations in a fast-paced office setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience, basic Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication skills. Office-based position with standard hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year related experience.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office & internet.
• Ability to work with numbers, including cash handling.
• Type at least 35 WPM (alphnumeric and 10-key input).
• Basic map reading and ability to read meters; familiarity with billing & payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Takes, prepares, tracks and expedites customer orders and inquiries by phone and in person.
• Fills out necessary paperwork; generates reports as needed.
• Refers service failure complaints to designated departments for investigation.
• Inputs information regarding inspections and payments.
• Prepares basic correspondence with customers.
• May be responsible for maintaining a cash drawer and processing cash payments.
• Other duties as assigned.
