Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment and sludge-processing equipment within an industrial facility. The role ensures safe, compliant water treatment and supports quality targets.

Shifts are 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma and may have prior experience in environmental services. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in related environmental services preferred.
• Experience in industrial, refinery, or water treatment environments preferred.
• Must be able to use computer programs for process control.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment and sludge-processing equipment.
• Monitor plant operations and adjust chemical levels to meet specifications.
• Collect water samples and conduct laboratory testing.
• Operate and monitor the SCADA system to track plant performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate assigned equipment.
