Job summary

ChemTreat is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead water treatment sales efforts, grow market share, and drive revenue by identifying and pursuing new customers. The role requires deep technical knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, RO systems, and related water treatment technologies, with collaboration across technical staff and account managers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of water treatment experience, a BS in an engineering or technical field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with chemical water treatment systems and applications.
• Provide analysis of markets, trends, competition, portfolios, technologies, and revenues.
• Increase sales and profits by meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and cold call generation of new customers.
• Create and present effective proposals to prospective customers.
• Communicate the ChemTreat value proposition to prospects.
• Help transition new business to the account management team when applicable.
• Entertain potential customers.
