Job summary

ChemTreat is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our water treatment sales, build strategic growth plans, and drive market share within assigned territories. You will work with technical staff and account managers to identify opportunities and execute growth initiatives.

The role requires deep knowledge of water treatment systems and proven ability to develop compelling proposals, manage customer relationships, and travel as needed to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field preferred.
• 10+ years of successful water treatment related experience.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with chemical water treatment systems and applications.
• Provide analysis of markets, trends, competition, portfolios, technologies, and revenues.
• Increase sales and profits by meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
• Prospect and cold call generation of new customers.
• Create and present effective proposals to prospective customers.
• Communicate the ChemTreat value proposition to prospects.
• Help transition new business to the account management team when applicable.
• Entertain potential customers.
