Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a senior leader to direct Water Business Group professional services, ensuring high-quality project delivery and technical excellence across disciplines.

You will guide staff development, risk management, and strategic initiatives to advance HDR's leadership in the global architecture marketplace. Reporting to the WBG President, you will align practice groups, drive continuous improvement, and foster collaboration across regions, while supporting recruitment and professional

Qualifications

• 15+ years in professional services leadership and delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development/training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Develop approaches to new technologies and digital delivery methods in support of initiatives.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of professional services technologies and systems to improve quality and delivery.
• Coordinate staff training on policies, processes, risk management, and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement through standards, procedures, and lessons learned.
• Support practice groups, discipline groups, and project teams in productivity and delivery growth.
• Partner with delivery services including program/project management and owner’s advisor services.
• Lead development of technical/delivery approaches and risk management for strategic initiatives.
• Lead QA and QC activities to ensure quality delivery.
• Monitor QC reviews and resolve project issues effectively.
• Facilitate use of Professional Associates in project delivery and knowledge sharing.
• Support recruiting, staffing, and professional association involvement.
