Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Electrical Engineer to shape resilient water systems, designing electrical distributions for water and industrial projects across the United States. The role focuses on planning, design, and startup activities for reliable, sustainable infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in industrial electrical design, power distribution, and expertise with ETAP or SKM tools, along with valid NEC familiarity and a passion for sustainability and resilience.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in industrial electrical design and power distribution.
• Experience with motor control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), lighting systems, and equipment layout.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deliver electrical systems for water, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Develop power distribution, lighting, communications, security, fire detection, and control systems.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or similar software.
• Support project managers with scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating.
