Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Resilience Water team in designing electrical systems for water and wastewater projects across the United States. You will contribute from concept through construction, focusing on power distribution, lighting, and control systems to enhance reliability and community resilience.

The role requires a strong background in industrial electrical design, 5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of water/wastewater project experience.
• Strong foundation in industrial electrical design and power distribution.
• Experience with motor control, VFDs, lighting, and equipment layout.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with process, mechanical, and I&C engineers to develop electrical design criteria and drawings.
• Design LV/MV distribution systems meeting codes and safety standards.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP/SKM or similar tools.
• Support project managers with scope, budgeting, scheduling and estimating.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed.
