Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Electrical Engineer to help shape resilient water systems across the United States. You will design and deliver electrical systems for water and industrial infrastructure from concept through startup, focusing on reliability and sustainable solutions.

Required: a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of water/wastewater experience. Preferred: a Master’s degree, EIT/PE licensure, and NEC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 5 years of experience supporting water/wastewater projects.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline (preferred).
• EIT Certification or PE license (preferred).
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with process, mechanical, and I&C engineers to develop electrical design criteria, single-line diagrams, control schematics, and technical documentation.
• Design low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems in alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.
• Perform power system studies and analyses using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or similar software.
• Support project managers with scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage assigned project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and other project-related travel as needed.
