Job summary

Arcadis is shaping the future of resilient water systems and is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to drive meaningful, long-term impact across water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the United States.

In this role you will design electrical distribution, lighting, and control systems, perform power studies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions that enhance reliability and community resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5 years of experience supporting water/wastewater projects.
• Master’s degree or PE/EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design criteria, single-line diagrams, and control schematics.
• Design LV/MV electrical distribution systems per project requirements and codes.
• Perform power system studies using ETAP or SKM Power Tools.
• Support scope, budgeting, and scheduling with project managers.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables for timely execution.
• Attend client meetings and site visits as needed.
