Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Denver to support design and update tasks, assist lead engineers, and contribute to project duties across market segments. The role emphasizes early professional growth, campus involvement, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include data analysis, documentation, and assisting with ad hoc projects while complying with company policies and standards. Local candidates authorized to work in the US preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active campus/community involvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentation.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
