Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern to support standard design tasks, update designs, and assist lead engineers on multiple markets including Water. The role involves data entry, documentation, and presentation preparation as part of a team delivering client-focused engineering solutions.

You will work with experienced mentors, gain exposure to project lifecycles, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA and strong communication

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program is required.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience is preferred.
• Active campus or community involvement is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns and research project problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned by managers.
