Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking Engineering Interns in Denver, CO who will perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques, assist lead engineers, and support project duties across markets, starting with the Power market focus on design and updates.

Qualified students pursue Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, with ABET preferred, enrolled in post-secondary programs in good standing, a 3.0+ GPA, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • In pursuit of an engineering degree with ABET accreditation preferred.
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program related to the work.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
  • Prior internship/consulting experience preferred.
  • Active campus or community involvement and strong communication skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States full-time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Assist lead engineers with project duties and design updates.
  • Support standard design of engineering systems.
  • Contribute to various assignments across market segments.
