Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Denver to assist with standard engineering tasks across markets, including design updates and data collection. You will support lead engineers on various duties and present solutions to concerns.

Markets include Power, Global Facilities, Transmission & Distribution, and Water, with opportunities to work on diverse projects. A 3.0 GPA and legal US work authorization are preferred; full-time schedule with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary program related to the work.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentation.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
