DZConneX Solutions Ltd is seeking a Water Sewage Operator to monitor water quality, operate and maintain equipment, and support recycling processes in a safety‑driven environment.

You will perform daily checks, follow sampling plans, and ensure compliance with safety standards while contributing to environmental stewardship and reliable water services.

Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma required.
  • Two years related experience and/or training preferred.
  • IDNR Water/Wastewater Grade 1-2 certifications preferred.
  • Valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily checks on incoming potable water and wastewater plant processes.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment and adjustments as needed.
  • Follow water sampling plans created by AO and IDNR.
  • Process wastewater for recycling and ensure safety compliance.
  • Maintain AO and Government equipment cleanliness and operation.

As the Water Sewage Operator, here's the work you'll do:

  • Perform daily checks on incoming potable water, gallons, chlorine, ECT, along with wastewater treatment plant
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment and adjusts as needed
  • Follows water sampling plans created by AO and IDNR
  • Processes explosive wastewater to be recycled
  • Maintains AO and Government equipment for cleanliness and operational requirements
  • Follows all AO and Government policies for safety

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Have knowledge of water/wastewater processes
  • Good understanding of the environmental/health impacts associated with potable and wastewater
  • Mechanical knowledge of pumping/electronics/associated equipment
  • Ability to lift objects greater than 50lbs

And these qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
  • Minimum of two years related experience and/or training Preferred.
  • IDNR Water/Wastewater Grade 1-2 Certifications Preferred.
  • Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $32.09 - $35.65/HR.
