Job summary

The City of Riverside’s Public Utilities Department is seeking a SCADA System Supervisor to oversee SCADA, OT, and related systems across water, electric, and generation facilities. You will manage staff, contractors, and system integrators, ensuring reliability, security, and continuous improvement of operational technology.

This role requires an Associate of Science in a related field, five years of relevant experience, and certificates (D2/T2; D3 preferred) for water distribution.

Qualifications

• Requires AS degree in related field with year-for-year substitution allowed for experience.
• Five years of experience in programming, operation and maintenance of computer systems, supervisory control, data acquisition, and communications.
• Proven supervisory experience leading SCADA staff, contractors, and integrators.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, review, and evaluate staff working on SCADA systems and OT networks.
• Develop, configure, troubleshoot, test, and implement SCADA applications, scripts, PLC programs, and HMIs.
• Oversee testing, startup, commissioning, and optimization of SCADA and telemetry systems.
