Job summary

WaterWisePro in California is seeking a skilled field technician to support water operations. The role requires a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Air Brake endorsements, valid D3 and T2 certifications, and a minimum of five years of water industry experience.

You will operate an advanced SCADA system, lead a small crew, perform routine inspections, read service orders, and work outdoors in varying weather. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and a strong commitment to safety are

Qualifications

• - Valid D3 and T2 certifications required.
• - CDL Class A with HAZMAT and Air Brake endorsements; clean record.
• - Minimum 5 years in water operations or related training.
• - Advanced SCADA system experience.
• - High School diploma or equivalent.
• - Coursework in water distribution/production/quality.
• - Ability to lead a team and make independent decisions.
• - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• - Knowledge of water system maintenance and repair methods, materials, and equipment.
• - Ability to operate tools and vehicles safely.
• - Ability to read and interpret service orders.
• - Ability to perform routine inspections; outdoor work in varying weather.
• - Background check, medical exam, and drug screen as required.

Salary Range: $41.65 - $54.16 / Hourly ( depending on experience )

• Possess and maintain valid D3 & T2 certifications.
• Possess a valid California Class A Commercial (CDL) with HAZMAT and Air Brakeendorsements and have no moving violationswithin thepast 2 years.
• Minimum of 5years of experience and/or training with increasing responsible experience in water operations.
• Advanced SCADA system experience.
• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Coursework related to water distribution. water production, and/or water quality.
• Ability to lead a team positively and effectively.
• Intermediate/Advanced MicrosoftOffice experience, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in water system maintenance and repair.
• Strong customer service and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Ability to perform routine inspections of service installations.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders.
• Ability to perform manual labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must successfully passa background check, physical examination, and drug screening.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Pipeline inspection knowledge and experience.
• Backflow/Cross Connection Tester Certification.
