Job summary

City of Aurora is seeking a SCADA Instrumentation Lead to oversee instrumentation and control systems across water facilities. You will lead I&C technicians, review plans, and provide guidance for FAT/SAT testing and programming integration.

This role requires strong PLC/OIT programming, calibration, and troubleshooting skills. You will mentor staff, schedule testing, and ensure reliable electrical and control systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four (4) years of instrumentation, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electrical power systems, instrumentation, and control equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Assist with budget and employee-training/performance plans.
• Provide direction for system upgrades and new installations.
• Mentor/coach I&C staff and ensure integrity of SCADA/I&C systems.
