Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Right of Way Director to refine and implement a comprehensive WBG ROW program across multiple U.S. locations. The role partners with HDR’s ROW leadership to expand market reach and deliver ROW services for clients and projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in related fields, demonstrates industry leadership, and holds professional ROW credentials. Travel is expected to be at least 20%, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industry leadership and industry association engagement.
• Experience developing and managing diverse client relationships and program/pursuit leadership.
• Experience with water-related infrastructure and understanding of Right of Way laws and regs (FHWA, Uniform Relocation).
• Active Real Estate License(s) or related designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee a WBG right of way program with market focus and growth strategy.
• Engage with market sector leaders, staff and clients to integrate ROW solutions.
• Lead project and program management, quality control, and staff development within WBG.
