Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Right of Way Director to refine and oversee HDR Water Business Group’s right of way program, reporting to the Planning Program Director. You will collaborate with HDR’s Right of Way Director and market-sector leaders to integrate acquisition and real estate solutions for projects and clients.

The role involves defining growth strategies, expanding geographic reach, and regularly engaging with clients to articulate the value of HDR’s right of way program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration for leadership roles.
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers.
• Committed to quality, HDR values, and employee ownership culture.

Responsibilities

• Project and Program Support: deliver Right of Way services and build alliances within the WBG.
• Marketing and Business Development: develop strategic visions and pursue opportunities; support client relationships and pursuits.
• Technical Staff Development and Alignment: stay current on best practices and recruit and mentor staff.
