Job summary

HDR's Water Business Group seeks a Water Right of Way Director to refine and oversee the WBG right of way program. The role reports to the Planning Program Director and partners with HDR's Right of Way leadership to coordinate activities toward program goals.

You will define strategies to raise HDR’s market penetration, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and manage client relationships while delivering high‑quality projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industry leadership and industry association engagement.
• Experience developing and managing client relationships and pursuits.
• Experience with water-related infrastructure and Right of Way laws/regulations (FHWA, Uniform Relocation Act).
• Real Estate Licenses or related designations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical focal point for the WBG to deliver Right of Way services.
• Support Market Sector Directors in developing and implementing strategic visions; drive opportunities.
• Recruit, mentor and align Right of Way staff to meet client needs and HDR goals.
